Vinca Deluxe Phinisi
Komodo private boat charter prices: the whole of Vinca, by guest band
Updated 10 October 2026
Chartering the whole of Vinca Deluxe Phinisi starts at IDR 50,000,000 (≈ USD 3,067). The price depends on the size of your group and the length of the trip, not on how many cabins you use. A 3D2N runs from IDR 100,000,000 (≈ USD 6,135) to IDR 110,000,000 (≈ USD 6,748), for up to 18 guests with 7 crew. Park fees are paid separately, and the deposit is 50 percent.
The whole boat, priced by guest band
Charter Vinca and every cabin, the sundeck, the long table, the tender and all 7 crew are yours for the trip. You pay per boat, and the price depends on how long you sail and which guest band your group falls into, not on how many of the 6 cabins you fill.
There are four trip lengths. For the smallest band, a day trip is IDR 50,000,000 (≈ USD 3,067), a 2D1N is IDR 90,000,000 (≈ USD 5,521), a 3D2N is IDR 100,000,000 (≈ USD 6,135) and a 4D3N is IDR 120,000,000 (≈ USD 7,362). Each step up in band adds a modest amount. Beyond the largest band, every extra guest, up to 18 in total, pays a set rate: IDR 5,000,000 (≈ USD 307) on a 3D2N and IDR 6,000,000 (≈ USD 368) on a 4D3N.
Every price is in the grid below. The rate sheet gives one figure per band and length and doesn't mention a peak-season surcharge, but do ask the desk about Christmas and New Year before you commit.

What it works out to per person
A whole-boat price is easy to misread, so we've done the sums for you. A 3D2N charter with six guests comes to IDR 17,500,000 (≈ USD 1,074) each. With ten it's IDR 10,500,000 (≈ USD 644), with fourteen IDR 7,860,000 (≈ USD 482), and with a full boat of 18 it's IDR 7,220,000 (≈ USD 443).
Set that against an open-trip cabin at IDR 8,500,000 (≈ USD 521) or IDR 6,950,000 (≈ USD 426) per person. Somewhere in the teens a charter starts to beat the open trip per head, and on top of that you choose the dates, the route and who comes along. For two people the sums go the other way: IDR 50,000,000 (≈ USD 3,067) each on a charter. If you're a couple keeping an eye on the rupiah, the open trip is the one to book.
The table does the maths for every trip length, from one guest up to 18.
With ten of you on a charter, you decide when the Padar alarm goes off, who sings first in the lounge and who gets the two paddleboards first. There's nobody else aboard to argue with.

In the fare, and out of it
In the fare: pickup from your hotel or the airport in Labuan Bajo, the captain and crew, every cabin, three meals a day, afternoon coffee or tea with a snack, soft drinks, life jackets, snorkelling gear, two paddleboards, the karaoke lounge and the tender. A 4D3N adds a dinner on the beach at Sebayur.
Not in the fare: flights, hotels in Labuan Bajo, alcohol (bring your own), crew tips, personal spending and Komodo National Park fees.
Two things sit outside the fare on every private charter, whatever its length: a tour guide and GoPro, mirrorless and drone documentation. The crew runs the boat, the landings and the snorkel stops; if you want a guide to lead the treks and a photographer to record the trip, say so when you book and the desk quotes both as a separate line. The park ranger on Komodo is a separate charge again, and compulsory.

Park fees: what we can print, and what we can't
Park entry is set by government regulation, PP 36/2024, and charged per person for every day you spend in the park. Foreign visitors pay IDR 250,000. Indonesians pay IDR 50,000 on weekdays and IDR 75,000 at weekends and on holidays.
Ranger fees, pier fees and snorkel levies are collected separately and can change without warning, so we can't print a single total that stays accurate. A drone permit is charged separately too, as is anything to do with diving, which we don't offer. Because fees are charged by the day, a longer trip means a bigger park bill.
We keep all of this out of the fare. Folding fees into a headline price makes a boat look cheaper than it really is, and the difference turns up on the day. We'd rather lose a price comparison than win one with a number that isn't real.
| International visitors | IDR 250,000 per person per day |
| Indonesian visitors | IDR 50,000 per person per day · IDR 75,000 weekends & holidays |
Paid separately in cash or e-ticket; ranger, pier and snorkel levies are extra and can change. Regulation: PP 36/2024 · Verified 10 October 2026.
Deposit, balance, changes and refunds
A deposit of 50 percent secures your date. The balance is due 30 days before departure, and if you book within 30 days you pay the lot up front. VAT at 11 percent is included in every price we quote.
Cancel 60 days or more before departure and you get 50 percent back; cancel 30 to 59 days before and you get 25 percent. Within 30 days there's no refund. Changing the date is free if you ask 30 days or more ahead. Between 14 and 29 days it costs IDR 500,000, and within 14 days it counts as a cancellation.
If Vinca cannot sail on your date because of a mechanical fault or a port or park order, we put you on a phinisi of the same class or higher for the same dates at no extra cost; if you would rather not, you get a full refund within 14 days. If bad weather or a park decision forces a change of route, the itinerary changes for safety and the fare stays the same.
It's a strict ladder, we know. If you need free cancellation until close to sailing, a more flexible operator will suit you better.

How to pay
Our prices are set in rupiah, and the invoice is in rupiah too. You can pay by credit card through a payment link, by Wise or Revolut, PayPal, QRIS or Alipay, through an online payment page, or by bank transfer in rupiah. Card payments go through processors such as Stripe and Airwallex, and the cards we accept include Visa, Mastercard and American Express.
PayPal adds a 7.2 percent fee. With card links, any fee is shown on the invoice before you pay, so there are no surprises at the final step. A rupiah bank transfer carries no card fee, though your own bank may charge for sending money abroad.
Always ask the desk for an invoice before sending money anywhere, and check that the account name on it matches the company in the operator box.

FAQ
Is the charter price per person or per boat?
Per boat, set by guest band and trip length. A 3D2N for the smallest band is IDR 100,000,000 (≈ USD 6,135), however many cabins you use. Divide by your headcount to get a per-person figure, or let the per-person table do it for every group size up to 18.
What happens above the largest guest band?
Each extra guest pays a per-person rate on top of the band price: IDR 5,000,000 (≈ USD 307) on a 3D2N and IDR 6,000,000 (≈ USD 368) on a 4D3N, up to 18 guests in total. They sleep on extra beds, one per room, so ask the desk to work out who goes where.
Does a charter come with a guide and drone photos?
No. On a private charter the tour guide and the GoPro, mirrorless and drone documentation are not in the fare, on any length of trip. Both are available on request: tell the desk when you book and you get the price for each as a separate line before you pay the 50 percent deposit. On the open trip both are included.
Is a beach dinner included on a charter?
On a private 4D3N, yes: it's held on the sand at Sebayur. On shorter charters it's an add-on from IDR 2,950,000 (≈ USD 181) per couple, with a small extra charge for each guest beyond two. The honeymoon package, at IDR 3,900,000 (≈ USD 239) per couple, includes one.
Can I charter the boat for a single day?
Yes. A day trip costs IDR 50,000,000 (≈ USD 3,067) for the smallest band and runs from the 09:30 pickup to a 20:00 drop-off, taking in Padar, Pink Beach and Komodo. It's a long day on a slow boat, though. If you can spare a second day, the 2D1N makes far better use of her.
Do the rates change for Christmas or the July peak?
The rate sheet gives one price per band and length, with no peak surcharge listed. That isn't a promise that none applies on the busiest dates, so ask the desk about late December, and about July and August, before you pay a deposit of 50 percent.
What happens if the boat breaks down before my charter?
You still sail. If Vinca cannot leave on your date because of a mechanical fault or an order from the port or the park, we move your group to a phinisi of the same class or higher for the same dates, at no extra cost, and tell you before you fly if we can. If you would rather not sail on another boat, you get a full refund within 14 days.
Can I book a Komodo trip for 2027 already?
Yes. Open-trip departures for 2027 are listed on the calendar on the operator's Monday and Friday pattern, and private charters can be reserved for any 2027 date. The current rate card applies until the operator publishes 2027 rates; if a rate changes before your balance is due, we tell you first and you may cancel without charge.
